The clock on my laptop screen says Monday viii:58 AM, which is the time back domicile in Novato, simply here in Hawaii, it'south three hours earlier, 5:58 AM, and the lord's day has yet to rise to a higher place the horizon.

Super quick Mon Poll this morning, friend, because El Hub has instructed me to "pace away from the estimator, Now!" Today is the concluding full day of my holiday, and tomorrow I caput dorsum to the Bay.

Y'all might be wondering, "So what the heck is this Mon Poll affair anyway?"
Well, it isn't much of a poll. Information technology's more than just a constantly evolving (devolving?), somewhat random list of questions I've been putting out to readers every Monday morn for the by four years. I've e'er enjoyed reading your answers in the comments, and I hope you enjoy reading mine.

Mood:
Happy and deplorable. Happy because I've had a great time hither on Kauai; deplorable because I can't bring the island back dwelling with me to California.
I thing you lot'd like to accomplish today?
Does getting pruny skin count equally an accomplishment? Because today I'd like to stay in the water long enough to be able to say, "I'm getting pruny."
Oh, and I'd like a mai tai… I mean, afterward today. I'd adopt breakfast first.
Do you like salsa or hot sauce with your eggs?
Mild salsa, yes.
What's one beauty product you've been using a lot lately?
Becca Beach Lip and Cheek Tint in Watermelon. First, it smells like watermelon, which I love. Second, you tin wear information technology as a blush or a lip stain (or both), and it applies just fine with fingers. Third, a little bit goes a long style. I barely have to use any to get a nice cheek affluent.
Did y'all take any lessons when you lot were a kid?
I took pianoforte lessons for … a long time, LOL! Years and years. It was kind of forced upon me, though, and I didn't really enjoy information technology at the time. I think I was besides young to actually appreciate it.
Ah, merely 1 unintended side event of those lessons was that my typing speed shot through the roof!
Weekly goals:
I don't want to think about the rest of the week correct now. Today, I only desire to think about today, and about enjoying my final day hither.
And and so later, when I'thou back at home, I would like to start planning some other trip for late summertime/fall, fifty-fifty if information technology's only a one-day route trip or a long weekend. Having something to look forwards to makes everything meliorate.

P.S. Not a lot to report about my mean solar day here yesterday (Kauai, Day 4). Just a lot of nada, which was fine by me.

Nosotros did bulldoze out to the south shore of the isle to a town called Poipu and a place called Shipwreck Beach, which I'd heard has great snorkeling, but the water was a little also choppy, so we drove back and spent the afternoon reading and ~~eating~~ playing by the hotel pool.
